So, my prince made it to Kuwait.....after six trys, he got his wife (me, hah) on the other end of the phone. To my rebuttal, I've had my phone on me since I left him. It's loud in the mall and I couldn't hear the phone ring until I was starring at it waiting for him to call for the sixth time (Praise God he called again!). It was almost midnight there and 4ish here-that makes for an 8hr. time difference- which makes for a more difficult journey this next year. I'm praying that when I get a full-time job we will find an easy routine to communication with this time difference thing. Why couldn't God have put everyone all on the same time zone? :)
Eli sounded really good on the phone- rested, encouraged, prayed for, happy, and excited for the journey (Esther, I kept telling Uncle Eli that he was "going on a journey" before he left). He said he slept through two movies, had a three hour lay-over in Germany, and made it safely. He also talked about the Burger King, PX, and all the amenities Kuwait had- who said he'd have it hard? ;) All to say that GOD IS GOOD. Thank you everyone for covering us with prayers and encouragement. I have been so peaceful today......such a blessing!
More updates to come....
Sincerely,
Mrs.H
